Written by AITC's 46th Annual General Meeting was held on Saturday June 14, 2008. A large quorum was reached, enabling various decisions to be taken. Both these decisions and the debates that led up to them will be broadcast and published on the members-only section of the website within the next few days, thanks to the meritorious efforts of the 4 minute-takers who agreed to devote their time to this task. Several items on the agenda gave rise to lively debate on issues of great topicality and importance, certainly for certain groups of members, but also for AITC as a whole. These included the new types of contract that some employers are devising in an increasingly cost-conscious spirit.
